Welcome to Vancouver Finlandia Club

Vancouver Finlandia Club is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization formed in 1971. VFC was formed to integrate and enlighten the Finnish population in British Columbia in order to improve the well being of its members, both in body and spirit, and to make Finland known to Canadians as well as Canada and its culture known to Finnish people.

Vancouver Finlandia Club sponsors an adult folk dancing group, language lessons for children and adults, and holds numerous social events throughout the year. We also publish the Länsirannikon Uutiset /West Coast News, offering Finnish news and culture from the West Coast of Canada.

A great gift idea: The Reflections book

Reflections of the Vancouver Finlandia Club(VFC) activities among Finns on the west coast of Canada 1971 – 2006. Their communal efforts helped new immigrants in finding their places in their new homeland and created many new and lasting friendships.
Uudet juuret – Uudet Tuulet kirja, välähdyksiä Vancouver Finlandia Clubin(VFC) toiminnasta vuosilta 1971 – 2006, on ilmestynyt.
Kirjan hinta / Price: $5.00
Käsittely ja postikulut / Shipping and handling: $25.00
(Kanada / Canada)
Yhteensä / Total: $ 30.00
