The Vancouver Finlandia Club hosts numerous social events and activities throughout the year. From baking classes, to seasonal celebrations, Finnish Your Dinner, sports or Club Nights, there is a wide variety of events and activities to choose from.

Finnish Your Dinner
A potluck style evening where we dine together under the stars, play a few lawn games, and enjoy a social summer evening. This is traditionally held at the Scandinavian community Centre on the last Friday in August.
Scandinavian Craft Fair
This annual Christmas Market was started by the Purpurit Folk Dancers as a fundraiser many years ago. As their numbers dwindled and they no longer had enough volunteers to run the craft fair, The Vancouver Finlandia Club was passed the torch and we have carried it for the last few years. This is traditionally held on the last Sunday in November. Click here for more info
Scandinavian Midsummer Festival
The annual Scandinavian Midsummer Festival is held at the Scandinavian Community Centre in June every year. Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark & Iceland work together to host a fun weekend of food, crafts, information and entertainment. Visit https://scandinavianmidsummerfestival.com/ for more info.
