Groups and Associations
The Vancouver Finlandia Club has a strong history of sub-clubs and associations. The Groups that are currently active are:
- Purpurit Finnish Folk Dancers
- FinnFun Language School
- British Columbia Finnish War Veterans
- Finlandia Sports Club
- Finnish Library at the Scandinavian Community Centre
- Finland House Society
- Finnish Heritage Club
In the past there have been many others as well. Sports like cross-country skiing, bowling, volleyball and pesäpallo, and gymnastics, radio & television, theatre groups, choir, chess club, sewing circle, and more!
